In a tiny Spanish village, Puss discovers that the dubious Jack and Jill possess the magical beans which the Puss story relates to a colossal beanstalk that stretches into the mountains and connects to a castle in the sky. This castle, which is said to contain the fabled goose that lays golden eggs, an immeasurable treasure. To Puss, this is a fortune and golden opportunity, thus he sets out to steal the beans, not in an act of greed but to restore his lost honor.

As his plan unfolds, he is surprised to find a lovely and talented feline thief, Deep Softpaws. He soon discovers that this is no ordinary duel but a back and forth exchange in the form of a scrimmage. Eventually, he learns to appreciate Softpaws and the two become friends. Kitty takes him to see an old friend of his, a childhood scientist known by the name of Humpty Alexander Dumpty, a very smart yet cunning, oval shaped robotic genius.

The two deserved the title best friends, as they had countless fantasies, including the one about the magic beans. The feud that followed was unfortunate, as one of the cherished friends was framed for a wrongdoings. Out of repentance, Homy now wishes to rectify the situation by assisting Puss alongside Kitty to obtain the beans and the golden treasure.

Under duress, Puss accepts the terms. Along with the two other members of the ‘team’, Puss was able to steal the magic beans from Jack and Jill. The three members of the group along with Puss planted the beans in the desert and were able to witness a giant beanstalk grow to the sky. Teaming up, they climb to the top and reach the cloud castle, where they are able to obtain golden goose and golden eggs. Along with the golden treasures, they also encounter the Great Terror, a massive animal who guards a baby goose and is baby goose’s protector.

Their escape had now the goose with them who they believed would help them in the pursuit of gold and legendary status. However, in the town of San Ricardo, the true nature of Humpty’s motivations had started peeling away. Puss finds out that Humpty had something else in mind, something that could potentially jeopardize the town’s safety. During these tense moments, Puss is forced to choose the type of heroic character he wants to be; one that runs away to escape from the truth of the past or, one that stands up for the truth.

During the last segment of the story, Puss is able to redeem himself but this time, not for the treasure or the fame; but for the honor and the virtue of bravery and faithfulness. He was then able to save the town along with the help of Kitty, bound himself with Humpty and then, faced the reality that he is not an outlaw but a banner of peace, a true hero.
