Sam now begins to feel a fragment of a lucky life when everything for her starts to go smoothly. She even plans on giving the penny to Hazel which will enable her to have the best shot at being adopted. Unfortunately, Sam loses the penny yet again.

To try and make things better, Sam decides to go on another adventure of looking for the penny. Turns out, the black cat named Bob is willing to guide Sam through a magical portal to the Land of Luck, which is the hidden world that creates both good and bad luck. All sort of magical creatures like leprechauns, dragons, and unicorns roam the place and the work together and sometimes at odds to create a balance of luck.

In the animated film Luck: The Land of Luck, Sam is taught the process behind the creation of luck, and the importance of maintaining a balance of both good and bad. She journeys to many parts of the Land of Luck such as the ‘Department of Bad Luck’, ‘Good Luck Center’, and the neutral zone ‘In-Between’ where luck is sorted and recycled. Throughout her journeys, she also meets her new friends, Jeff the dancing unicorn and Rootie, who is responsible for taking care of the bad luck section.

Bob and Sam make a joint effort to accomplish the task of retrieving a new lucky penny so that they can restore Bob’s lost status in the world of luck. Balance can be restored with the right guidance, and through her understanding, Sam is able to restore balance to the Land of Luck and assists Hazel in finding a loving home.
